Since 1988, PWN has honored one member each year for their contribution to the organization. This award is given to a member who has held a leadership position in PWN; exemplifies our heritage of "Women Helping Women"; participates in events and continues to promote PWN.

This year’s PWN member has served on the Board of Directors and on the Special Events Committee, including chairing.

Her peers describe her as a true leader.  She approaches everything with a smile.  She’s very dedicated to PWN, offering support generously, with a great attitude and professionalism.  She welcomes others and offers assistance when needed.  She’s a pleasure to work with and is helpful with whatever project is before her.  She has been continually active in planning and in service.

Stacie Reid's coworkers confirm that since starting her career as a Residential Interior Designer at Phelan's Interiors in 2007, it’s been evident that she cares about people and can be counted on…. exhibiting these qualities daily, always putting her customers’ needs and desires above her own.  Stacie works extra hours to complete a project, and listens to customers discuss their dream as part of her daily routine.  She handles all customers with a smile and a genuine concern that the customer receives what they desire.

The Phelans Interiors management team further said that, “A chain is only as strong as its weakest link and we never worry about the link that she represents.”  She is counted on and delivers daily.  “With her responsible, we never wonder if it will be handled.. We know she will get it done.

“Phelan’s has been in business for over 70 years, and during this time the name has come to mean something in Cedar Rapids.  She is a shining example of how we want our company represented and what our business philosophy is.  We feel blessed to call her a co-worker and friend.”

At PWN, too, she tirelessly “gets the job done” and we are a stronger organization because of her passion and dedication.

I know you all agree…Stacie is just FABULOUS!
