2012 Event Slate

PWN provides quality programming for members and guests.  Meetings are generally held on the 4th Thursday of the month, with breaks during the summer and in December.  Special Events are held periodically throughout the year.  Please see each individual meeting for specific information, to register, and plan to join us soon!  We look forward to seeing you!

Our venues require a guaranteed headcount 72 hours prior to each event, so please be sure to register early.  Members pay just $17 for general meetings, guests pay just $25 and may attend up to two meetings prior to joining.  For your convenience, you may prepay all 2012 meetings (except our Annual Golf Classic), below. Registration is accepted at any time; members and guests will be assessed a $5 late fee if registering within 72 hours of the event, and will be invoiced (or not reimbursed) for missed meetings or late cancellations.

Annual Colleague Event: The Power of Inspiration & How to Share Yours
March 22, 11:30am - 1:00pm
Cedar Rapids Marriott

According to research conducted by John Zenger and Joseph Folkman, authors of The Extraordinary Leader, inspiring others is rated as the most important competency of leaders and the best predictor of someone capable of generating high levels of employee commitment.

Are you in a leadership role within your church, professional organization, community, school, and work place?  Would you like to see your colleagues and peers more productive, creative, positive, and energized?  As a parent, do you want to inspire your children to make their best possible contribution?

Keynote speaker, Gale Mote, is a professional trainer who is passionate about her audience and her content, often inspiring others as a catalyst for personal growth and accomplishment.

During our Colleague Event, Gale will discuss four important attributes necessary to inspire others:  being a role model, setting stretch goals, communicating powerfully, and being a collaborative team player.  Sharing her humor, personal stories and practical approach, you will be on your way to being an extraordinary, inspiring leader in every area of your life.

Get ready to be "Mote-ivated!"
