JOB DESCRIPTION: Graybar is a Fortune 500 company with locations nationwide and is one of the world's largest employee-owned companies. We are a leader in the distribution of electrical, telecommunications and networking products and an expert provider of related supply chain management and logistics services. We are looking for an Outside Sales Rep, minimum 2-4 years industry-specific experience. This position will manage and maintain contacts with established customers, source new business by prospecting new customers, requiring onsite customer visits and routinely working away from Graybar’s place of business. They will promote and sell Graybar products, adhere to company pricing policies, achieve maximum gross margin rate, keep informed of all local market conditions. Participating in training, trade shows, sales meetings required. Must have broad knowledge of product line and pricing, business administration, sales and marketing, and proven ability to work independently to achieve goals. Negotiation skills, ability to sell and be persuasive, professional appearance and demeanor, acceptable driving record are also a must. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
